I had the honor of working with Wesley at Stillwater Medical Center. He was such a hard worker and such a truly kind and caring person. I can honestly say he has been my favorite employee I ever have ever worked with. I feel such sadness at his passing. I absolutely LOVE the picture of Wesley. This picture caught his happiness and kindness. I am so sorry for your loss. Ruth Blair

The picture of Wesley says so much about who he was. That handsome smile greeted everyone he met and came in contact with. I've known Wesley since he started to work at SMC. If only everyone was as dedicated to their job as he was, oh, what a better place this world would be. The same goes for his caring heart, if you had the honor of being a friend of Wes's you were truly blessed. My heart aches to think that this special person has left this world but rejoices in knowing I will see him again in heaven. I pray for strength and comfort for his family and those close to him. RIP Wesley!

I am just broken hearted, as I know you are also. Wes was such a nice young man and always had the nicest smile. I could not help but smile when he did. You did such a good job raising a Christian man. I know Jesus has his arms around him now and Wes is having the time of his life. He’s home! ♥️ Love you guys so much.

I have known Wes over 40 years, beginning in Scouting in Troop 28 at the former Red Fork Lions Club in SW Tulsa. Wes earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts and joined our troop, where I became his first patrol leader and his tent partner at his first summer camp at Camp Garland. Mosquitoes liked him so well, and he scratched their bites in spite of his Dad, Jack, telling him to stop. One night mid week at camp, Wes tried waking me up to tell me he was sick, but before I could, Wes threw up on my tee shirt and sleeping bag in our tent. A few years later, I spray painted an old tee shirt green and presented it to him at a Court of Honor awards program. When the troop traveled to points of interest in the 70's, CB radios were very popular and his Dad, along with our Scoutmaster, Bob Sitter each had one. Wes named his CB "handle" (radio name) "The Night Hawk", and scouts were allowed to talk with them from time to time. Wes was very determined to overcome his speech difficulty, and he worked hard at that and everything else he set his mind to. We became best friends and Wes worked with me on my Eagle Scout project and I returned the favor to work on his, when he later earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Wes overcame obstacles in life where many would likely give up. As adults, Wes and I talked a number of times about our Scouting memories and how to help the scouts in our troop have fun and learn. Wes was dependable, fun, and used the gifts and skills he learned in church and Scouting to help others. He lived the Scout Oath and Laws. After I bought my first truck, Wes was always wishing he had one of his own someday. Each time I bought a new truck while he was still in Tulsa, Wes wanted a ride to check it out. One in particular he liked was my '92 Chevy extended cab. In 1999, I began looking for a new Chevy truck, and Jack asked whether I would trade or sell it. Jack and Joy wanted to help Wes get his first truck, so I sold it to Wes with their help and he was so excited! We talked about it years later as Wes drove it to work, and he was very proud of it. I may have been more proud of that time, it gave Wes the well deserved independence he had worked so hard for. It is with sadness and shock I learned of your passing, but we will talk again soon someday my friend. Pick a good tent site in Heaven, I will be happy to share it with you.
