	My first memories of &quot;Uncle John&quot; were in McAlester,OK in the 1960&#39;s, where his parents (my grandparents lived). We (his sister Virginia&#39;s family) would always go visit &quot;the grandparents at Christmas and other times. John and Vivian would always make it a point to go there and visit and meet with us. John&#39;s parents (my grandparents) later moved and retired in the Lake Texoma area and the tradition contionued for many years. One couldn&#39;t ask for a better uncle and aunt and John and wife Vivian were to us (we were 4 children). They brought us Christmas presents as kids and were very family oriented. I traveled from Houston,Tx to visit my Uncle John and Aunt Vivian in the winter of 2013 and that was the last time I saw them. Vivian died shortly after my visit to Stillwater,Ok and now John in gone. Virginia (John&#39;s sister and my mother) still survives and lives in Houston, Texas.</p>]]></description>			<category>Shared Photos</category>
