I fondly remember Trevor, as we met through our college running days. Even though I was a rival from Kansas University, we made a friendship because we found out we both trusted Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. This friendship continued, and I remember a couple years later, that he set up a speaking engagement for me to come and speak to his church's youth. I was with Athletes in Action, a Christian sports ministry, at the time. It was a great experience and I believe it made a positive impact on a lot of people.
To me, this is just a typical story of what Trevor was like. He made the effort to help others, and was a genuine, true friend.
I hope the good memories of Trevor will stick with you and I trust that God's Spirit is sustaining you and helping you continue your life here on earth, Karen. My prayers continue for you and your family.
