Bonnie was such a joyful person. I loved her laugh! We has such fun with all her music programs. I remember when Sheila and I sang in a triple trio at SHS. We sang two sings in Spanish at the state foreign language teachers meeting. I still remember the songs. I spent many nights with Sheila and I treasure the whole family. Bonnie was one of a kind and so loved. She and Sheila leave a little hole int my heart. Love you all....

Was so very sorry to hear about the passing of Bonnie. She was such a sweet Lady. The funeral service was very nice. Thank you for sharing her celebration of life with all of us too.

Bonnie Alexander played an important part in my life. She was my fifth grade home room teacher and always had energy and looked pretty. I always thought, in my grade school days, she looked like Yvonne DeCarlo the movie star! LOL When music and chorus was available in school I was always there. Mrs.A spent endless hours in rehearsal for our girls' trio, triple trio, boys’ groups, mixed groups, solos, etc. And we did very well in District and State competitions!! She also was my Christian Church Choir director. Very fortunate for the church, because without all us students in the choir, they might not have had a choir (also a good chance for me to keep singing nearly daily and improve.) Joe, R.V. and your family have my profound sympathy. I was stunned when Sheila passed away too soon. I’m also very sorry that Arch is gone. He was a good leader too in the church and of course our schools. Know that I’ll remember Bonnie and her influence forever. Micki

Story shared: "No class today!!"

We Sayre girls were walking to Mrs.A's class in the pre-fab "hut" across from the HS bldg. Several of the boys in chorus were coming from the hut towards us. They all enthusiastically said "There's no class today!!" We asked "Why?" "Don't know" they said as they walked past us. So we turned around and went back into the HS building. I think we all went to the library. In a few minutes here comes a FUMING Mrs.A! "Why weren't you girls in class???" And we looked at each other, then said "They said there wasn't going to be any class today." Mrs.A: "WHO said there wasn't any class today???" We kinda shrugged our shoulders and said, "Oh, you know, "they". That was the end of it. However, I think the guys got severely put on notice---as they well deserved!!! She was a great music director, with patience.

She always was and always will be "Mrs. Alexander" to me. Mrs. Alexander was my "second sixth grade teacher" and somebody made a life-long impact. I was blessed to have her as a teacher. About 1993, I wrote Mrs. Alexander a letter telling her "I thank God every day you were my teacher." Maybe some day, I will get to tell Mrs. Alexander "thank you" again!

Dear Family Members! You are so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful family. I knew Dr and Mrs A for many years and so enjoyed visiting with them and spending time together. They hosted our office parties and Bonnie outdid herself with all the delicious food and good fun. I have many of her recipes that my family enjoys so much. She would proudly show us the newest Bell that had been added to her collection. as a member of this family, you were deeply loved and cherished. My sincere sympathy for your loss. I know she will be missed. It was an honor to know Bonnie and Arch.

My deepest condolences to the family. I have so many pleasant memories of Mrs. Alexander from my school days in Sayre back in the 1950's and 1960's. She was one of those teachers we'd all like to have in every class!

I have so many sweet memories of Bonnie. I remember her laugh and her enthusiasm for life. I loved her music classes where she was so creative in her programs and specials. I was in the Triple Trio with Sheila and all our friends. What a great music teacher! I shared many days and night with the family in Sayre and you are my second family! Joe, you have lost your mom, dad and sister as I have lost all those(but a brother) in my family. It is hard to lose them and you miss them always...Of course, Sheila was my best friend and I miss her still. Enjoy your wonderful memories of a life well-lived. Hugs to you all.....Carol
